🌸 ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ Hi girlies!
Let’s keep it short and sweet 💌
With Coachella just passing, I’ve been fully in that summer mindset. There’s something about this season that feels lighter. The days are longer, your schedule opens up a bit more, and you finally have space to think about what you actually want to do.
And honestly, that’s my favorite part. It’s not just the weather, it’s the freedom. The ability to slow down a little, reset, and spend your time on things that feel good instead of just what you have to do.
So here’s your sign to try something new this summer.
A random hobby. A class. A solo day. Something you’ve been putting off for no real reason.
Not everything has to be productive or planned out. Sometimes it’s just about exploring, being curious, and letting yourself enjoy it without overthinking.

Our free resource of the week 💌
Sending a letter of interest (not cover letter)
When you are reaching out through email, especially for opportunities like shadowing, informational experiences, or short-term programs, a letter of interest is often more appropriate. In that case, your focus should be on showing curiosity, initiative, and clearly explaining why that specific opportunity matters to your development.
A cover letter proves you can contribute now.
A letter of interest shows you are worth investing in.
Here is our template and examples you can use

Does luck really exist? and maybe how to increase your chances.
Does luck really exist? Or is there a way to increase your chances?
I used to think about this a lot, especially scrolling through LinkedIn or social media. You see someone winning multiple scholarships, someone else building a startup that suddenly takes off, or someone getting into their dream school. It lookslike luck. Like something randomly chose them.
But the more I’ve experienced things myself, the more I’ve started to see it differently.
Luck is not random. It’s probability.
What people call “luck” is usually just someone putting themselves in situations where the odds start to shift in their favor. It’s exposure, repetition, and positioning.
Think about it this way. If you want to win the lottery, you won’t win by just hoping. You increase your chances by actually playing. Buying tickets consistently. Paying attention. Learning patterns. Being in the game at all.
The same idea applies to everything else.
The student who “randomly” wins multiple scholarships is not just lucky. They applied to many. They improved their essays over time. They learned what works. Each application increases their probability.
The founder who “got lucky” didn’t just wake up funded. They pitched multiple times. Reached out to people. Put themselves in rooms where opportunities exist.
The person who got into their dream school didn’t rely on chance. They built a strong profile, asked questions, took risks, and applied anyway.
What looks like luck is often just consistency meeting opportunity.
And here’s the part people don’t talk about: probability compounds.
Every time you apply, reach out, show up, or try again, you are slightly increasing your odds. One action might not change everything, but repeated actions do.
So if you feel like you’re “not lucky,” it might not be about luck at all. It might just be about how many times you’ve given yourself the chance.
Put yourself in more rooms. Apply to more things. Talk to more people. Try things even if you’re unsure.
Because at some point, what feels like luck will start to look a lot more like the result of everything you did to increase your chances.
And here’s the mindset shift I keep coming back to:
Luck might eventually look like 100% probability, but even getting to 50% is already a lot.
So ask yourself this how lucky do I actually want to be to get what I want?
